One of the only reasons why I have any faith whatsoever in humanity and life itself is because people around me still find the ability to laugh, smile, love, and simply survive even through all the pain and suffering they go through in a mostly crappy world. I’ve learned to treasure and cherish every moment in which I am able to share a smile or laugh with someone, every meal I am able to eat, and every sunrise I get to witness, no matter how small or trivial these moments may seem. Who knows when these moments will elude us?

I force myself out of bed at 6:55, pay $1.25 to hop on the bus at 7:34, wait 15 minutes in -4 degree weather to transfer to the next bus, arrive at school at 8:25, 40 minutes early for my Sociology class, which is my only class of the day, eventually finding out that all classes before 10 AM are canceled due to a power outage. Awesome first day of class! -_-
