"Sun comes up, sun comes down...Never a...
My sleep schedule is such that I get to see the sun come up and the sun go down; Two of the most beautiful daily sights. Of course I can’t do this forever, but it’s still pretty fun, so I’ll enjoy it while i can.
One of the only reasons why I have any faith whatsoever in humanity and life itself is because people around me still find the ability to laugh, smile, love, and simply survive even through all the pain and suffering they go through in a mostly crappy world. I’ve learned to treasure and cherish every moment in which I am able to share a smile or laugh with someone, every meal I am able to...
The Power of the Janitor
If one day all of the janitors in any given company refused to work, that company would be in deep shit (no pun intended). Who will handle the strenuous dirty work for the executives? Luckily for these companies (and unfortunate for the people), there is enough desperation out there to quickly replace these workers.

When you are disrespected...
Person 1: what do you think of this quote
"Throughout life people will make you mad, disrespect you and treat you bad. Let God deal with the things they do, cause hate in your heart will consume you too."
Person 2: I live by that. Think about it this way;
when someone disrespects you or treats you badly what do you think they are trying to do?
Person 1: bring you down, thus bring themselves up.
Person 2: Exactly, which means that either you are on equal grounds with them or above them
in that case, if you try to bring them down too you have admitted defeat,
thus becoming even lower than them.

Racism is not a two way street
It is a dangerous intersection. If you think it’s the classic black versus white conflict we often see portrayed in the media, you’re not getting the full story.
First Day of School Fail
I force myself out of bed at 6:55, pay $1.25 to hop on the bus at 7:34, wait 15 minutes in -4 degree weather to transfer to the next bus, arrive at school at 8:25, 40 minutes early for my Sociology class, which is my only class of the day, eventually finding out that all classes before 10 AM are canceled due to a power outage. Awesome first day of class! -_-

Why Society is Doomed to Be A Sophisticated Herd...
“Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom entails responsibility and most people are frightened of responsibility” - Sigmund Freud This has actually inspired me to write an essay about society’s conformist ways and why revolutions are so rare. I look forward to posting a concise version of the essay on my blog, look out.

I got on an airplane, not sure where i was flying to or from. This airplane was awesome; tons of space and there was a buffet type thing in the middle section. I got a big plate of pasta and passengers looked at my plate and gave me complements for having a good looking plate of food. I sat down near the wing section of the plane and stared at the wings as the plane took off. It was strange how...
